stARTup is a contemporary hotel art fair for select independent artists to create their own unique exhibition spaces and show their latest work in an unexpected and interactive setting. With more than 50 rooms of exhibition space and dynamic art programs for visitors to explore stARTup is a destination event that disrupts the art world status quo by breaking down gallery walls to bring artists, art world professionals, and their audiences, directly in contact with each other to celebrate the creative spirit,  foster new relationships, and create new opportunities.

With our unwavering mission to champion creative and professional success for independent artists stARTup Art Fair has enjoyed a steady attendance growth of 30%, since its inception. We attract artists, art industry leaders,  collectors, and visitors from across the U.S. and as far away as Mexico, Canada, China, Europe, Australia and South America. Because of stARTup’s success, satellite events are popping up around us, making us art world influencers. We are the converging point where old and new expectations of how art should be seen, experienced, and purchased become more inclusive, more immersive, and way more fun.

Here are just a few statistics about our organization and market that you might find interesting.

Our partners gain access to an average attendance of 5,000 visitors including multicultural professionals, techies, collectors, and art & design enthusiasts between the ages of 25 and 65 years old. Approximately 50% percent of our attendees earn between $75,000 to $175,000 annually and about 20% earn more than $200,000. Half of them own homes. They are engaged on social media, decorate their homes, travel, buy art, and attend experiential and cultural events. They work in the top industries in our region and 21% run businesses of their own.
