My work comes from television commercials that constantly encourage viewers to accept what bacteria looks like via a broadcast graphic. Those nasty (whose to say?) ingredients that pop up in our modern lives & activities. From where I stand as an artist, my aim is to imitate the advertising process through a fake anti-brand called bevron. I created this show titled Natural Flavour to light-heartedly & humorously play on this visual infiltration. The light-vessels replicate the constant use of illuminated devices, back-lit touch screens or neon-lit branding choking our vision. It pushes a sense of the domestic repetition use of products guaranteeing an improved life.
