I create and hand cut paper illustrations of sunflowers, roses, poppies, tulips and mustard plant and combine them with acrylic paint on wood panels to form surreal and whimsical floral compositions. I finish every piece with a two-part epoxy resin worked with a creme brûlée torch. The duality of floral illustrations cropped into secondary forms represents the concept that art, like life, is not always as it appears and often includes many layers or points-of-view.
